First Aid Kit for Outdoor / Kit Pertolongan Cemas


This is a suggested lightweight first aid.  You'll want to add to or adapt it to your needs.  Carry only those items that you know how to use.  From time to time, check your kit and restock worn products and replace old, expired drugs. Remember that you also need knowledge to go along with your first aid kit, and it's important to take basic first aid and CPR classes.  You may also want to consider taking a Wilderness First Responder course if you go on extended trips in the backcountry.

1. 3-4 Sterile gauze pads (4" x 4") 
2. 2 Rolls of 4" wide sterile gauze
3. 8 Band-Aids (Include a couple large-sized Band-Aids) 
4. Elastic bandages 4"wide (for knee)
5. 2 Triangular Bandages (Useful for slings and lashing to improvised splints) 
6. 1 Roll of Band aid
7. 1 Wrapped sanitary napkin (for nose bleeds, or to clean up blood from wounds) 
8. 10 cotton buds
9. 1 bottle of Acriflavine (for cleansing wounds) 
10. 1 Tube of Deep Rub ointment (to releive muscular pain)
11. 1 Piece of moleskin (4" x 4".  Use for blisters) 
12. 10 Acohol pad (for cleaning wounds) 
13. 2 Safety pins 
14. 10 Pain killers (aspirin or  ) 
15. 8 Benadryl (antihistamine tablets) 
16. 10 Ultracarbon Charcoal tablets (for d
17. 1 Pair of scissors and tweezers (Scissors and tweezers are also available on Swiss Army knifes) 
18. 1 60 cc Syringe (For suction of vomitus or irrigation of wounds) 
19. 2 Pair of rubber gloves
20. 1 CAN ETHYLCHLORIDE (skin anaesthesia for promp releif of pain)
21. Axe Brand Medicated Oil (minyak cap kapak)
22. Massage Oil (minyak Gamat, minyak hijau atau ape yg anda selesa pakai)

Any special medicine you need to carry. 

Other Items You May Want to Consider: 
  • Snake bite extractor (also useful for bee stings) 
  • 6mm  x10meter rope
  • 1 Lighter
WARNING: SOME MEDICATION MAY HAVE SEVERE REACTION ON SOME PEOPLE. A SIMPLE DOSE OF PANADOL CAN WORSEN A PERSON CONDITION DUE TO ALERGY TO PARACETAMOL. PLEASE!!!! DO NOT DISPANSE MEDICATION WITHOUT KNOWING THE VICTIMS ALERGY  AND ITS PROPER USE.
